if you are making a little vacation
out of your trip to hawaii, renting a car is the easiest way to get around. hawaii has very slow public transportation and cabs don't frequent areas other than the airport and waikiki

there are many things to see on oahu:
•wander around waikiki's shops, restaurants, beaches
•hike diamond head
•shop ala moana, the 2nd largest outdoor mall
•eat and shop at aloha tower
•snorkel at hanauma bay
•visit sea life park
•check out jen's kailua beach
•witness the north shore beaches, pipeline
