Jen was born and raised in Kailua, Hawaii before leaving for the mainland for college.

Michael was born in Chicago before his family moved to LA imediately after it snowed on Mother's Day.

Michael and Jen met in piano studio at SCU. Mike showed up late, dishevled hair, sweaty with skateboard in one hand, score in the other. Jen was sitting in the middle of Dr. McCollough's couch, crowded between two other students, elbows uncomfortably at her side, hands on her knees with a wanting look on her face that expressed a longing to be anywhere else in the world than piano studio class. Although distracted and in a hurry, Michael (legendary for his attention to detail) immediately caught a glimpse of the blue hair and was intrigued. Jenni too noticed that most classical pianists don't choose a skateboard for their standard mode of transportation. It was love at first sight.

Jenni and Michael would become good friends throughout the course of their stay at SCU, and continue to stay in touch through the years until finally crossing paths again in September of 2001. It would prove to be a incredible, long distance romance between San Diego and Los Angeles. Michael and Jenni never missed a weekend, fighting traffic, taking trains, whatever it would take, they soon realized they were happiest together and wouldn't let the distance get in the way for long.

The happy couple and digger, just bought their first home in Altadena, California. Jenni works currently at a motion picture advertising agency called Poster Child in Burbank. Poster Child specializes in print design for marketing major motion pictures, primarily for Disney animated features. Jenni designed the company's website, and hopes to start a web division and expand Poster Child's marketing strenghts and visibility in internet advertising. Michael also works in the industry, as a post production supervisor for New Wave Entertainment. Also a Burbank based entertainment marketing facility, New Wave strives to be a one stop shop to cater to all the marketing needs that major motion picture releases require. Michael works primarily on the Disney account, supervising the online editing and mixing of television commercials that promote Walt Disney & Touchstone commercials.

Okay, enough history.....Jenni and Mike are both thrilled about getting everyone together in beautiful Kailua on November 1st. We are so excited about our future together and can not wait to see you all in person, sip on a Mai-Tai, and hang loose.
